Presently 'Nerds' of the cute variety surrond me.
1. Who was your best friend?
Danny.
2.What sports did u play?
None, but I did speech team and quiz bowl.
3. What kind of car did you drive?
hahahahahaha. Me drive? Back then? I'd be dead along with eight other people.
4. It's Friday night, where were you?
At home or riding with someone to a high school event.
5. Were you a party animal?
Not in the traditional sense. I did throw a bunch of nerd parties that brought a lot of folks together and gave me the better memories of high school.
6. Were you considered a flirt?
Not at all. Few girls to practice on and not in my blood really.
7. Ever skip school?
No, my high school came down hard on that stuff.
8. Were you a nerd?
Yes, but I didn't draw, watch anime or roleplay much so I was the odd nerd out..
9. Were you in any clubs?
Outside of speech and quiz bowl no.
10. Did you get suspended/expelled?
I got in trouble a lot before high school so I stayed ultra good throughout, with no disciplanary action taken on me.
11. Can you sing the fight song?
Only the first few lines.
12. Who was your favorite teacher?
Mike Leech. I still respect him for his humor, style(Irish!) and personal ethics.
13. Favorite class?
Weddle's reliogon class because he introduced us to other things. I learned the most from honors American history.
14. What was your school's full name?:
Holy Cross High School. A college prep school for boys.
15. School mascot?
Tiger. Tony Montana would like it.
16. Did you go to dances?
I went to a few. The best was prom because I had no date and went all out silly including a sword fight of sorts.
17. If you could go back and do it over, would you?
It was a confusing time that I spent looking for myself. I didn't, but I found direction, and hope. Nonetheless it would hard to do high school again because it was confusing and most of the time when I tried to change things it back fired. Everyone was very conservative. For being a dull period of my life I don't think I'd go back because I made the best of the situation. I would possibly repeat senior year because I was very happy, feeling better about myself, and glad that I was getting out.
18. What do you remember most about graduation?
The bad music, the heat, the feeling of it all being anticlimatic. I was right, high school was a somewhat hollow exprience in relation to the rest of my life.
19. Favorite memory of your Senior Year?
There were quite a few. The ring ceremony at the begining of the school year would be it. It was the portent of a good year.
20. Were you ever posted up on the senior wall?
I was in the school picture of the graduating class.
21. Did you have a job your senior year?
No.
22. Where did you go most often for lunch?
Eat with classmate friends, visit Danny the nerd king of 11th grade, and then visit Leech.
23. Have you gained weight since then?
Yes. Funny since most of my classmates lost weight.
24. What did you do after graduation?
Prepared for college.
26. Where are most of your classmates?
Nothing interesting. My class was lame compared to the rowdiness of the classes above us. The class of 1999 already has 5 graduates dead. That isn't a great goal, but it shows that the other classes, even though they weren't great at least had spunk. Most of my friends are doing fine with work or school.
27. Are you going to your 10-year reunion?
No. Katrina destroyed my school. and the 5 year reunion was a bad experience.
28. Who was your worst teacher?
Carboneau, civics. He was abusive and even if I got a A I found him a worthless and bitter person.
29. Who will repost this after you?
Lettuce see.
